Today, myself (Cleveland Cavaliers) and Brooklyn Nets came to a trade agreement.
Cleveland Gets: PG Deron Williams, 17.18M (12/13), 18.47M (13/14), 19.75M (14/15), 20.04M (15/16), 22.33M (PO)(16/17)
Brooklyn Gets: PF Tristan Thompson, 3.89M (12/13), 4.06M (13/14), 5.14M (QO)(14/15) C Tyler Zeller, 1.56M (12/13), 1.63M (13/14), 1.70M (14/15), 2.16M (QO)(15/16)
For my team, the Cavaliers, I feel this will positively impact my franchise in many ways. First, I receive the best player in the trade without question. Second, I will have two truly elite PGs giving me a lot of flexibility for a future trade if I so choose, of to keep and have a great nucleus. Lastly, it will help me to reach the salary floor of $50 million. This will improve my team as I will continue to improve the overall talent level of my roster, and it fits the direction my team is heading,as I want to become competitive right away.
For the explanations of the Nets owner, please read the comment of him below.

Well I accept this trade cause it gives me some cap space and I think Thompson is a great young player on a team that will need scoreing down low. Also Thompson fills a hole when Humphries contract is gone in 2 years. With Zeller I get a young back up at center and he will give me some boards and blocks.

This trade is tough, because I don't like trades of superstar proven talent for unproven youth. But, I see this as more of a salary dump for the Nets who are hard up against the cap. I'll give this a reluctant pass.
You need 2 out of 3 from league managers for a trade to officially pass.
So far 1-0 in favor of pass, one more pass vote is needed to confirm trade.

I like this trade for both teams. Brooklyn has to do something about their cap in order to use their draft picks & pick up enough FA's to fill out their roster. They are getting two potential stars, while giving up a proven superstar. 2 nice long contracts for Zeller & Thompson get this trade a pass from me.

In a standard scoring format league, I'd veto this in a heartbeat, but, considering how this league is set up, this is actually a much more even trade than it may look on paper. PASS
3-0, this trade officially passes.
Both of you, please record this transaction in your transaction logs in your respective forum sections.
