NBA GM's
As the retraction draft comes to a close, Free Agency will start soon after. I had initially set the rules for free agency that bids unopposed for 24 hours would result in teams being awarded the particular player in question. But, with only two weeks until the start of the season, and with some rosters with deep holes in this league, I was thinking that maybe that time limit should be shortened down to 12 hours or maybe even 8 hours because of the need to fill in rosters. So I am putting it up for a vote, either 8, 12, or 24 hour unopposed rule until the start of the season. Once the regular season begins, free agent bidding will go back to a 24 time period. So this is a short term amendment.
Note: There will be no black out times over the course of the night.
NOTE: This is a 2 legged vote: In 24 hours the top two results of this poll will go through another vote for the final decision on the amendment. Thus, I'm hoping that we start free agency some time Monday morning.

12. I like to be able to sleep for more than 8 hours when possible, and there are stretches during my day when I might be away from my laptop for more than 8 hours. Wouldn't want to miss the beginning and end of a nomination without even knowing about it.

12. I have class followed by work from 9am to 6:30 pm every day. 8 hours wouldn't give me any chance to make my bids during the day.
