The Heat have brought something to my attention that I failed to explain to the rest of the league. We have the Milwaukee Bucks franchise that is currently unowned, and the Clippers franchise who's GM hasn't been in to check up on her team in quite a while. As league manager my job is to secure the long term health of the league, and because this is the inaugural season of NBA GM and partaking in the only retraction draft in league history someone has to secure that these two teams are built somewhat competitive. I have delegated the free agent acquisitions of the Clippers to league manager Dan, while I have taken over the Bucks. I split the management of these teams up for the precise purpose of impartiality. Until I can find new GM's to take over these franchises, someone will have to manage these teams.
Let me make clear, you will never find a situation where league managers are trading with league operated teams. I won't allow it.
Now, considering all things, this league remains in relatively good health. GM's are active, the draft went faster than I thought and free agency has been remarkably active considering its a draft that is digging down the bottom of the barrel. As soon as free agency is over I will actively seek new owners for these teams.
Good luck to everyone!

UPDATE: Dan and I have switched management of team because both those teams reside in our divisions. So for the sake of impartiality I will manage the affairs of the Clippers until a new GM is found while Dan will manage the Bucks.
