The Portland trailblazers trade Meyers Leonard to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Dotanas Montiijunas. I have accepted this trade because Leonard has a good future in Portland he is getting minutes there and there frontcourt is thin so I believe he will get time. Dotanas I believe actually has more upside as a scorer but with a crowded frontcourt in houston I think it will take time for him to get minutes. I decided to trade him for leonard based on the two players production so far this season.

Here is my reasoning:
1) Leonard is 2 years younger than Motiejunas. (slight adv. to Leonard with regard to development and career longevity) 2) Leonard has much higher upside based on scouting reports. (noteworthy adv. to Leonard) 3) Leonard has over 100 pts this season compared to Motiejunas' 6.2 (huge adv. to Leonard)
This is just a very easy comparison to make. Apples to apples. Leonard is simply a significantly stronger asset both now and in the future. That's why I'm vetoing. I'm pretty sure, based on previous trades, that this one will require a 3-1 or 4-0 to be approved and 2-2 will be denied.
0-1

I am going ad Miami's 2nd round pick in 2013 to this trade to help it get approved. my other 2nd round picks will be high and I don't want to include them in this trade so this is the only pick I am willing to part with for Leonard.
New trade - Portland trades Meyers Leonard to the T-Wolves for Donatas Montiujnas and Miami's 2013 2nd round pick.

Okay, I'm fine with this one, with that addition. That pick will likely be #40, probably #38 at best. It's not much, but we've seen plenty of guys get drafted late or not at all and become impactful players (Gilbert Arenas, Manu Ginobili, Isaiah Thomas, Wes Matthews, etc.). Very slim chance, but I think it evens out the whole argument of "potential" which this trade seems to center around (no pun intended). Blazers, if you see this thread, post your own approval/consent (so we know it's not a scam lol).
1-0.

I accept this trade while Leonard can become a top C at the sametime maybe he wont am just a huge fan of Montie & he reminds me of Bragnani with more upside so i accept this trade...... Every trade is a gamble
