The Minnesota Timberwolves and Chicago Bulls have agreed on a trade. The Bulls will trade Carlos Boozer, Taj Gibson, and Lou Williams to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Kevin Love and Trever Ariza.
I agreed to this trade for a couple of reasons, I get rid of Trever Ariza's contract and I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to trade Kevin Love he has had a bad year and is out for a while now after rebreaking his wrist. I felt like this was actually decent value for love I get two good big guys and a nice guard to strengthen my backcourt. The bulls get the 2nd superstar they have been looking for plus Ariza who when healthy has been decent. After listening to a couple other offers for Love I felt like this was my best offer for him.

The Chicago Bulls agree to the trade. As mentioned by the Wolves above I have been looking for a superstar to pair with Rose. I feel Love is the ideal solution.
I had to seriously consider the offer, as receiving 2 injured players whilst losing 3 players producing may hurt me in the short term. Especially when I am fighting for a playoff spot. However I believe in the long term the trade will improve my chances of competing for a championship, especially as Rose may need time when he comes back. I don't like taking on Ariza's contract, but it is a sacrifice I am willing to make.

I'll give this trade a tentative pass. I like the trade for Chicago long term much better with Love being at top 10 player in fantasy. But Boozer seems to produce every year, and Lou Williams appears to be having a good year as well. I know Love's injury's can be frustrating, but I would have liked to see a pick go back to Minnesota or something a little more. But there's not enough here to overturn it because it is a 2 for 1 and with the main guy in the trade having an injury riddled year.
Pass 1-0

Assuming Love gets even most of the way back to his 2012 production:
Love = 28ppg (2012 minus a couple points) Ariza = 9.7ppg (2013 so far, his only Wiz season)
Boozer = 17 (2013) Lou Williams = 20.7 (2013, as starter, newly promoted) Taj Gibson = 9.7 (2013)
This trade is off by about 10 ppg, which confirms my initial gut feeling telling me that the trio of Bulls players are of a higher value than the 2 Wolves players. I don't expect Ariza to get much better, and I have my reservations about Love reaching 30ppg for a whole season again. I think Gibson will eventually become a starter, and Lou seems like he could be the next Jamal Crawford. Of course, Boozer is solid and has been playing out of his mind recently (a 29.6 clip over the last 7 days).
As far as contracts go, they're all reasonable, except Ariza's is pretty bad and Lou Williams' is an absolute steal.
I think this is a huge trade, but just isn't even enough for me to pass it. I tend to give smaller trades a bit of leeway in balance, but the big ones are more important to me to get them as even as possible.

i just dont really like this trade at all for the bulls. Love cant stay healthy now and aria is one of the worst contracts in the league.
The twolves on the other hand get a steal in williams who is playing very well, they also get boozer long temat a very producitve rate and gibson is only gonna get better.
Really sory but i think this is just too one-sided to pass
Veto

This trade has been vetoed. Wolves and Bulls need to rework the deal to make it more fair to the Bulls advantage.
