NBA GM's
As many of you know I begun to set up our busy offseason. Though the offseaon is officially not here in the sense that the NBA Playoffs are not finished yet, for my own purposes of going through a busy offseason, I wanted to get an early start. I am asking all GM's to go through their free agent list and begin to decide on what actions they would like to take with various players that have options on there contracts. Here is a list I have compiled of all the teams in our league and their free agent situations.

None of the decisions that we make now are official because we are off to a very early start, and we still have other variables like Player Options that we won't find out about until the real NBA offseason starts. But like I said, I would appreciate teams getting me a list of what they want to do to help me now, and I'll be flexible with changes before we start with the Draft and Free Agency.
The other thing that this will help me with is owners, and who is still with us and who is not. I think we have a great core of owners, about 10 to 12 that are with us for the long haul, and as soon as we get free agency set up, I will fill the league with new owners of teams that may have lost one. If you are recieving this e-mail, and you haven't visited the ProBoards page, I have not officially kicked you out of the league. If you are still interested in being part of this league, stop on by the league page and just drop an e-mail with your free agents decision. The offseason is what makes salary leagues so exciting, because its where GM's get to build their own teams.
The second year of any fantasy league is what begins to make it a special league. As many of you know I run two leagues, the other being a keeper league, who after the first season had about a 55% participation rate. Now that we have reached the end of the second season in that league its about an 85-90% participation rate. I think NBA GM will be similar, because any good league needs to go through its growing pains. If you've been on the fence with this league, I would like to invite you back for an exciting offseason.
Good luck to everyone.
